Have You Ever Thought About Fasting?
Just hear me out on this because it can genuinely change your life.
Fasting has become one of the most powerful things I do every week.
Most people live in a constant state of consumption. Food. Noise. Dopamine. Scrolling. Stimulation. Constant input. Constant reacting. And after a while, you don’t even realize how foggy your brain becomes because that fog becomes your normal state.
When I fast, it feels like my system resets.
Typically I do around 24 hours. From around 3 PM one day until 3 PM the next day. Water, coffee, espresso, mate sometimes. That’s it. And every single time I do it, I notice the same thing: my mind becomes sharper, calmer, cleaner, more aware.
It also it helps with your face, you notice how clean it looks the next day
Also its worth considering that some of the best working sessions I’ve ever had in my life happened while fasting. Some of my clearest strategic thinking. Some of my deepest realizations about business, life, content, direction, and purpose came while I was fasting.
And the interesting thing is… it’s not just physical. It feels psychological. Spiritual even.
Your body stops spending all its energy digesting food all day long and suddenly it feels like that energy goes somewhere else. Your awareness increases. Your discipline increases. Your emotional control improves. You become less impulsive. Less reactive. More intentional.
People underestimate how much eating constantly affects mental clarity. Our life revolves so much around food.
And yes, there are biological benefits too. Autophagy. Cellular repair. Insulin sensitivity. Reduced inflammation. Human beings were not designed to constantly eat every few hours from the moment they wake up until they go to sleep.
We evolved through periods of scarcity too.
The longest I’ve personally done was three days. And honestly? By the second and third day something very strange happens mentally. Hunger almost disappears and your mind enters this hyper-clear state that is hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself.
One of the best, clearest, most productive days I’ve had in years happened during an extended fast. I remember feeling extremely calm, focused, emotionally detached from noise, and deeply connected to my work and thoughts. Almost like my brain was operating at a different frequency.
That’s why I continue doing it.
Not because I’m trying to torture myself. Not because I’m obsessed with optimization. Give it a try one day. Start slow if you never done it maybe just 12 hours.
Fasting may help you feel more in control of yourself
It may help you disconnects from noise and be one of your most poroductive days.
And honestly… in a world that constantly overstimulates people and destroys their attention spans, that alone is already a superpower.

Just did my first 36 hr one last week and am working on a write up for it, would you look at that twin energy we got going!!
